
Dr Dan Păun
Păun Gheorghe Dan graduated from Nicolae Bălcescu Industrial High School, where he obtained his Baccalaureate Diploma (Electronics Diploma). In 1999, he graduated from the National Academy of Physical Education and Sport with a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education. Since 1999 until now, he has been a football coach for the Romanian Football Federation with a UEFA A coaching license. In 2003, he obtained his Master’s degree at the same Academy on the topic “Motor Anthropology”. He earned one more Master’s degree in 2009 at the Spiru Haret University, Faculty of Physical Education and Sport, by defending his thesis entitled “Management of sports activities”. In 2010, he got his PhD in Physical Education at the National Academy of Physical Education and Sport. He has been working as a Physical Education teacher at School No. 1 Saints Voivodes for three years and as a coach and the director of the Center for Children and Juniors at F. C. Naţional 2000 Bucureşti for one year. He was also a coach for children and juniors at CSA Steaua Bucharest Football for a year. For seven years, he has worked as a coach at S. C. Popesti Leordeni (League a-III-a). Since 2019, he has been working as the head coach for children and juniors at FC Progresul Bucureşti, as well as a coach educator within the FRF (2021) and referent of the National Football Academy within the FRF (2022).
